Compete with.

Competition is often thought of as against something.  Maybe instead, competition is with something.

Here are two ways to compete “with” instead of “against”. 


  1. Compete with yesterday - Macro goals are great but growth is truly about the process.
  2. Compete with the moment - Training (mental and physical), nutrition (daily and performance) and recovery (active and passive) are all different parts of the process.  Compete with each part and compete with each moment.
*Instead of competing against, COMPETE WITH.

Compete with teammates. Compete with coaches. Compete with parents. Compete with progress...
